Bermudian swimmer Sam Williamson delivered a superb performance on Day Five of the Junior Pan American Games, finishing third in the Men's 200m Individual Medley 'B' Final.
Williamson, who secured his spot in the final with a preliminary time of 2:11.05 that placed him 13th overall, showed significant improvement in the evening session. In the 'B' Final, he touched the wall with an impressive time of 2:10.68, a faster time than his morning qualification swim, to finish in third place.
His strong performance in the final elevates his overall ranking for the event to 11th place against a competitive international field. The result is a positive end to his campaign in the 200m Individual Medley.
