Bermuda's highly anticipated Eastern County Cup competition Second Round is set to explode into action this Saturday, August 16th, with cup holders Bailey's Bay taking on challengers Cleveland County at Lord's in St. David's. Play is scheduled to get underway at 10 am, promising a thrilling start to the island's celebrated cricket calendar.
Bailey's Bay, the reigning champions, will be led by the experienced Terryn Fray. They have made one change from their First Round team with Tre Manders from St. David’s Cricket Club coming in for colt Michael Agard who had figures of 13-2-46-3 in the low scoring match against Flatt’s Victoria.
The Bailey’s Bay team also kept some notable additions, including Zeko Burgess from St. George's Cricket Club and Derrick Brangman from St. David's Cricket Club, both looking to make an immediate impact for the cup holders. Captain Terryn Fray, now back at his opening position, has been among the runs in recent weeks.
