Bermuda's Under-19 cricket team suffered a seven-wicket defeat to the United States of America in their fourth match of the ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup Americas Qualifier.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Bermuda struggled to build a substantial total. They were bowled out for just 55 runs, with Luke Horan top-scoring with 21. The USA bowling attack was led by Adnit Jhamb, who was the pick of the bowlers with impressive figures of two wickets for just five runs.
In reply, the USA made a cautious start but ultimately secured victory. They reached the target of 56 with three wickets down, thanks to a top score of 27 from Nitish Sudini. Horan was the standout performer for Bermuda with the ball, taking two wickets for 25 runs.
The result leaves Bermuda's Under-19 team with a one-win, three-loss record in the tournament, with two matches still remaining in the qualifiers.
