In other swimming preliminaries, Marleigh Howes competed in the Women’s 100m Freestyle, finishing 7th in her heat with a time of 1:22.32, which placed her 27th overall.
The Men’s 200m Breaststroke saw Sam Williamson finish 17th overall with a time of 2:28.61, while Elijah Daley was close behind in 18th with a time of 2:28.85.
Archery Bronze Eludes Roberts and Selley
On the archery range, a day of hard-fought competition concluded without a medal for Bermuda's talented archers.
The duo of Jaydon Roberts and Robin Selley competed in the Mixed Recurve Division bronze medal match against Cuba. The Bermudian pair battled hard but ultimately went down 6-2, just missing out on a spot on the podium.
Roberts' pursuit of a medal wasn't over, as he later took on Esteban Silva of Argentina in the Men's Recurve Bronze Medal match. In another close contest, Roberts was once again denied, falling 6-2 to Silva.
Despite the outcome, the performances of Roberts and Selley throughout the Games, including their deep runs in both the individual and team events, are a testament to their skill and determination on the international stage.
