Bermuda's Under-19 National Cricket team have begun their ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup Americas Qualifier campaign in sensational fashion, securing a comprehensive victory over Argentina.

Winning the toss and electing to bat first at the Param Veers Sports Complex, Bermuda's batsmen were in dominant form, posting a formidable total of 318/8 from their 50 overs.

The innings was anchored by two superb performances, with Luke Fulton hitting 74 from just 60 balls, a knock that included six fours and three sixes. He was supported by Keegan Jones, who scored an equally impressive 73 from 68 balls, punctuated by seven boundaries.

The Argentine bowlers struggled to contain the Bermudian attack, although Muhammad Abaidullah was a standout performer, claiming four wickets for 57 runs from his nine overs.

In reply, Argentina's chase never got going. They were bowled out for just 81 runs, with Bermuda's Sa-Qui Robinson producing a masterful bowling display. Robinson was the pick of the bowlers, tearing through the Argentine lineup with exceptional figures of 5/13 from his 10 overs, which included three maidens.

Alvaro Minardi was the only Argentine batsman to show any resistance, finishing on 22 not out. The convincing win gives Bermuda a crucial early advantage in the qualifying tournament.
