The two teams, who had played out a scoreless draw in their opening Group B match, once again found themselves locked in a tight contest. Both sides created chances, but a well-organised Antigua and Barbuda defence repeatedly denied Bermuda.
With just one minute of regulation time remaining, the deadlock was finally broken. Following a corner, Bermuda maintained possession in the box, and a desperate challenge from an Antigua and Barbuda defender resulted in a penalty.
Solomon Salaam stepped up to the spot and calmly slotted the ball home to give Bermuda a late lead. The team then saw out four minutes of stoppage time to secure the win and a seventh-place finish in League B.
