Bermuda's Nayan Grant and his Gillingham Under-18 teammates have concluded their pre-season schedule on a high note, securing a dominant 5-2 victory over Colchester United at Beechings Cross.
The young Gills side delivered a free-flowing attacking performance to round off their preparations for the new season. Stan Sargent was the star with two goals, while Alfie Cross, Arthur Mhlanga, and Louie Dayal also found the back of the net to seal the win.
Grant, who joined Gillingham's academy earlier this year, was part of a team that showed great promise and cohesion. The result will be a major confidence boost for the squad as they head into their competitive campaign.
