Chare Smith and his Frenchay teammates started their match by winning the toss and electing to bat, a decision that paid off with a total of 236/9 in their allotted 50 overs.
Despite a tough outing for Smith, who was out for a duck, Tom Bibby was the star of the innings, falling just seven runs short of a century with an excellent knock of 93. Pak Bristolians' Waqas Ahmad was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with impressive figures of 10-1-43-4.
In reply, Pak Bristolians struggled to build a significant partnership and were eventually bowled out for 168. Subhan Razaq top-scored with 38, but it was not enough to chase down Frenchay’s total.
Frenchay's bowlers were in control throughout the innings, with Harangaddeep Singh leading the way with outstanding figures of 8.5-1-32-4. Smith also contributed with the ball, finishing with a tidy 6-2-22-1 as his team secured a comprehensive victory.
