Camiko Smith is facing an uphill battle at the Clutch Tour's Q Hotels Collection Open, after a challenging opening round at Forest Pines in North Lincolnshire, England.
Smith, competing in the professional event, carded a four-over-par 77 in his first round, leaving him tied for 102nd place. The Bermudian golfer's round included one birdie, but was hampered by five bogeys and a disappointing double bogey.
The performance leaves Smith with significant ground to make up in tomorrow's second round if he is to contend for a strong finish in the Q Hotels Collection Open.
