The Bermuda Fitted Dinghy Race season continued today with three exhilarating races in Mangrove Bay, hosted by the Sandys Boat Club, and it proved to be a magnificent day for the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club's "Contest III."
Under the skilled command of skipper Josh Greenslade, "Contest III" delivered a truly dominant performance, securing victory in all four races held on the day. Their flawless run saw them claim the prestigious Gilbert Bowl, Cambridge Cup, SBC Shield, and B.A.A. Cup races.
Other Bermuda Fitted Dinghies also battled fiercely on the water. Ahzai Smith was at the helm of "Elizabeth II" representing the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club, striving for honours. Alan Frith, a familiar face from recent international team racing, was the skipper aboard the St. George's Dinghy and Sports Club's "Victory IV." Martin Siese took the helm for the host club, Sandys Boat Club's "Challenger II."
While the other teams showed competitive spirit, it was "Contest III" and Josh Greenslade who stole the show, marking a truly exceptional day of sailing in the iconic Bermuda Fitted Dinghy Class.
