In the opener, Robin Hood delivered a strong performance, defeating the PHC Zebras 3-0.
Robin Hood took the lead late in the first half when Chance Eve found the back of the net in the 43rd minute, giving his side a 1-0 advantage at the break.
Eve then doubled Robin Hood's lead in the 56th minute. Bakari Furbert sealed the comprehensive victory with a goal in the 76th minute, making it 3-0 and ensuring a comfortable win for Robin Hood.
Somerset Eagles 3 Somerset Trojans 1
The nightcap saw the Somerset Eagles emerge victorious in the "battle of the west," defeating the Somerset Trojans 3-1.
After a scoreless first half, the Somerset Trojans broke the deadlock in the 54th minute when Rio Russell converted from the penalty spot, giving them a 1-0 lead.
However, the Somerset Eagles responded swiftly. Arnezha Astwood equalized in the 60th minute. Eight minutes later, the Somerset Eagles took a 2-1 lead with Tyler Emery finding the back of the net. Their lead was then extended to 3-1 in the 72nd minute, courtesy of an own goal, securing the win for the Somerset Eagles.
The latest round of Under-23 Summer League fixtures provided clear winners, with both Robin Hood and Somerset Eagles making strong statements.
