After a thrilling nine-goal encounter just four days prior, many fans would have converged on the BAA Field tonight for the Under-23 Summer League 2025 KO Cup Preliminary Round match between Devonshire Colts and PHC Zebras.

This time around, the PHC Zebras demonstrated a more disciplined defensive performance to secure a decisive 3-1 victory and advance in the knockout competition.
The Zebras took the lead in the 17th minute when Harlem Bean-Fox found the back of the net, giving his side a 1-0 advantage which they carried into the half-time break.
The second half saw the PHC Zebras extend their lead early. In the 49th minute, Antonio Wade doubled their advantage, putting them in a strong position. However, Devonshire Colts managed to pull a goal back in the 78th minute through Senoj Mitchell, sparking hopes of a comeback.
Any lingering doubts for the PHC Zebras were quickly quashed, as just two minutes later, Zakiyah Lee restored their two-goal cushion, effectively sealing the 3-1 victory and their place in the next round of the KO Cup.
The win marks a successful follow-up for the PHC Zebras against a familiar opponent, showcasing their ability to adapt and control the game when it mattered most.
