Bermuda's Under-14 Girls' National Football team now know their path in the 2025 Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Challenge Series, with the groupings and format for the tournament announced. The competition, set to be hosted in Trinidad and Tobago from August 15th to 24th, will see 23 Member Associations from across the region participate.
Bermuda will compete in Tier I of the competition, which features the higher-ranked nations. Tier I consists of two groups of four teams each, and Bermuda has been drawn into Group A alongside Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Martinique.
Group B in Tier I comprises Aruba, Haiti, Jamaica, and the host nation, Trinidad and Tobago.
The group stage in Tier I will follow a round-robin format, meaning Bermuda's young squad will face each of their Group A opponents once. Following the group stage, the top two teams from each group – the winners and the runners-up – will advance to the semi-finals. The semi-final winners will then progress to the Tier I Final, scheduled to be played on August 24th, 2025.
Teams finishing in third place in their respective groups will play a single playoff match to determine the overall 5th and 6th place ranking in Tier I. Similarly, the fourth-place finishers from Group A and Group B will face each other in a playoff to decide the 7th and 8th place ranking.
The draw sets the stage for an exciting tournament for Bermuda's Under-14 Girls, who will face a competitive group in their quest for success in the CFU Challenge Series.
