Chris Smith held his nerve to clinch victory at the Gosling’s Moongate Tour Major, played at the challenging Turtle Hill Golf Club. After a tightly contested first round that saw Smith, Daniel Augustus, and Scott Roy all tied at the top of the leaderboard with 1-over par 55s, the final round saw Smith maintain his composure.

Smith carded another 1-over par 55 in his second round, finishing the tournament at 2-over par. His two rounds included five birdies and a steady 24 pars, offset by seven bogeys. Daniel Augustus ultimately finished just one stroke behind Smith in second place. Roy and Kenny Leseur, who had been in contention after the first round, both finished a further stroke back, highlighting the close nature of the competition at Turtle Hill.
