Lamont Marshall continued his preparations for the defense of his Bermuda Day Half Marathon crown with a solid performance at the Larry Ellis Invitational. The event, hosted by Princeton Men's Track and Field at the Weaver Stadium, provided a competitive platform for the Bermudian distance runner.
Marshall took part in the Men's 10,000m race, crossing the finish line in a commendable fourth place with a time of 31:14.83. Throughout the grueling event, Marshall maintained a consistent pace, averaging around five minutes per mile. He then demonstrated his finishing speed with a blistering final 800 meters, which he covered in an impressive 2 minutes and 20 seconds.
