Betting first Newport scored 209 all out, Imran Hassan was the top scorer with 62, while Scotland who opened the inning added 29. Tomos Jones was the pick of the Bridgend bowlers with figures of 8.1-0-3-22.
In reply Bridgend town scored 213/7, Ben Kellaway was the top scorer with 73, Tegh Sehgal was the pick of the Newport bowlers with figures of 8.5-0-37-3. Scotland did have a catch and a stumping.
