Hamilton Parish goalkeeper Nigel Burgess put down his gloves and picked up the Rugby Ball for National Duty as Bermuda defeated Turks and Caicos at the National Sports Center on Saturday in their opening match in the 2015 North American and Caribbean Rugby Associations (NACRA) Championship.
Burgess a former Bermuda National Football goalkeeper won his first cap coming on a substitute in the game.
Burgess said, “It was an honor to represent my Country, I guess now I can be considered a two sport athlete.”
