Race 3 of the 2013 Bicycle Works Mountain Bike Racing series was held at Admiralty House. In windy and cool conditions, the 67 participants took challenging course.
In the Male A Division, the much anticipated return of Dominic Mayho only lasted two laps, Mayho who just finished his two weeks of camp at the Bermuda Regiment would have been looking to show his worth, however after going out to a fast start Mayho pulled up with a left knee injury pulling out of the race. Neil de St Croix continues his impressive form taking the top honors clocking 24:42.517, with Brian Steinoff finishing second with a time of 26:09.239 and Mark Hatherly finished in third with a time of 26:44.164.
Hans Hirschi rode a solid race finishing in first in the Male B Division, followed by Robin Horsefield in second and Ian Port finished in third.
In Female B Division racing Gabriella Arnold finished in first, followed by Ashley Kirkpatrick in second, while Kyle Adams took the top spot in the Novice Class, followed by Jason Thomas in second and Paul Tetly finished in third. Brittany Uddin won the Female Novice Division.
In the 13-16 Male Class, Matthew Oliveira took top honors, with Christian Oatley in second and Sam Walsh in third.
Tristan Narraway finished first in the 13-16 Female Class, followed by Jessie Godfrey in second and Victoria Davis in third.
