Looking very tired from the long travel, Jeneko Place, Taylor Ashley Bean and Owen Siese were met at the airport by Family and friend, they all said they would remember being Bermuda’s first ever representatives at the Youth Olympics.
Following the Youth Olympics, BermudaPlace, while Siese is the 6th Best Youth Olympic Male Byte II Sailor, Bean is the 14th fastest Youth Olympic Female 1000m runner and Ryan Gunn is the 31st fastest Youth Olympic Male Triathlete.
Many in this country would look at these accomplishments and say, yeah but they did not win any medals, but the fact is they represented all of us.
