The Seven member Bermuda Tennis Team that took part in the ITF COTECC Junior Tennis Tournament in the Bahamas led by coach Brent Smith and players Christopher Rego, Adam Turner, Stephan Cooper, Ethan Rogers, Dandre Outerbridge and James Finnigan returned to Bermuda this evening with Three Trophies.
This team has been competing for some time and will finally get some other media coverage as some of Bermuda's other Media was on hand to greet another arriving Team.
Rego who lost to Christian Cargill from the Bahamas in the Boy’s 14’s Singles Finals of the in three sets brought back the Runners Up Trophy, Rego also held the the ITF COTECC Junior Tennis Tournament Boy’s 14’s Doubles Championship Trophy.
Meanwhile James Finnigan brought back the Consolation Singles Championship Trophy. Coach Brent Smith said, “We had another great tournament in Bahamas, the competitions is good, we get a real chance to see how our players have progressed and this was indeed a test”.
