Bermuda finished second in the Elite Caribbean Cycling Championship Team Road Race competition in Barbados, with Flora Duffy winning the Silver Medal in the Womens road race this morning.
Dee Thomson had to withdraw with stomach problems but Duffy won the group sprint behind breakaway winner Marie Rosado of Puerto Rico.
In the Mens road race Geri Mewett finished in 11th place in the 125 kilometer race. Garth Thomson abandoned the race with cramping while first time participants Chris Faria and Arthur Pitcher were pulled late in the race as the leading group had lapped them.
