Dee Thomson has won the Female Elite Caribbean Cycling Championship Time Trial Gold Medal for the second year in a row in Barbados. Flora Duffy finished an impressive fourth in here international cycling debut ten seconds behind the third place finisher, Sue Brown of US Virgin Islands, an impressive showing that puts Duffy in with the top women for tomorrow's 90 kilometer road race.
In the Male Time Trial race Garth Thomson won the Bronze Medal when he finished 3rd. Thomson posted the best time early and was the race leader until being surpassed by two riders, Wily Rousso of Martinique won the title for the second year in a row, just for seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Despite being surpassed, Thomson has now accumulated two bronze and on silver time trial medal in the last three years.
