Jenaya Wade-Fray Wade-Fray and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball team, seeded 13th in the Sacramento Region, had its upset bid thwarted by No. 19 Oklahoma State losing 70 - 63 in the Wells Fargo Arena. Chattanooga ends its season 24-10, while OSU 25-10 advances to face either Georgia or Tulane Monday night. Wade-Fray who finishes as Chattanooga’s all-time leader in games played at 131 had a total of 6 points going 2 for 8 from the field, the two shots she hit were both 3 pointers, she also grabbed eight rebounds to go along with her four assist and one steal. BSSF Basketball Championships Inside the Warwick Academy Gymnasium the Bermuda School Sports Federation’s Basketball Championships got underway. In the Middle School Boys Final Warwick Academy defeated Saltus 29 – 24. . Rauson Tankard led Warwick Academy with 14 points, while the game’s MVP Conor CustodioMarcus Smith scored 8 points to lead Saltus. Whitney Institute defeated the Clearwater Middle School 19 - 14 in Middle School Girls Final. Somersfield Academy defeated The Berkeley Institute 41 - 29 in the Junior Varsity game. MVP Lucas Barbay led Somersfield with 20 points, while Naquan Smith scored 8 points to lead The Berkeley Institute. Warwick Academy defeated Cedarbridge 43 - 36 in the Varsity Boys Final. Game MVP Juron Tucker led Warwick Academy with 17points, while Anthony Furbert scored 15 points to lead b>Cedarbridge. Cedarbridge defeated The Berkeley Institute 36 - 35 in the Varsity Girls game. MVP for Cedarbridge was Calvina Douglas who had 10 points as did Julia Outerbridge. The Berkeley Institute was led by their MVP Jahtuere Trott with 14 points and her sister Jahkenya Trott scored 10 points. 2010 CellularOne Premier Basketball League The 2010 CellularOne Premier Basketball League season continued this evening with a double header at the Cedarbridge Academy Gymnasium. Hamilton Tsunamis 64 Southampton Titans 37 In the first game of the evening, the Hamilton Tsunamis got 14 points from both Greg Todd and Graham Robinson as they defeated the Southampton Titans 64 – 37. Steve Bath scored 16 points for the Titans. Pembroke Cane Toads 66 Somerset Flyers 55 Lee Greene scored 19 points and Lloyd Peterkin chipped in with 14 points to help the Pembroke Cane Toads defeat the Somerset Flyers 66 – 55. Both Dmitri Butterfield and Jonathan Lowe scored 15 points for the Flyers.
