The Bermuda Hockey Federation (BHF) is excited to be hosting a weekend tournament with USA-based organization Big Apple Hockey (“BAHF, Inc.”) from March 10th to March 12th at the National Sports Center.
As the Bermuda Women’s National Field Hockey Team continue its preparation for the Central American and Caribbean Games (CAC Games), this tournament weekend will provide a high standard of competition for the team to formally practice their principles in a game situation.
BAHF, Inc. is an organization formed out of the need for more competitive and quality field hockey on the East Coast.
Director of BAHF, Inc., Nigel Traverso, will be traveling with the Big Apple team bringing his experience as a former USA International field hockey player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
Entry to the tournament is free, and we welcome the public to come and support our National Women’s Training Team and give a big welcome to Big Apple Hockey for a weekend of high-level hockey.
Games will take place on Friday, March 10th at 6 pm, Saturday, March 11th at 11 am and 5 pm, and Sunday, March 12th at 11:30 am.
