The 2022 Rugby Americas North Super Sevens tournament got underway in Mexico City at UNAM’s Deportivo Alfredo Harp Helu Grounds, with Bermuda represented in both Men’s and Women’s Divisions.
Bermuda’s Men opened up with a 26 – 12 victory over the Dominican Republic. In their next match, the Bermuda Men defeated Barbados 14 – 12. The Bermuda Men’s team’s third match saw them defeat Belize 48 – 0.
In their opening match, the Bermuda Women fell 39 – 0 to Trinidad & Tobago. The Bermuda Women were shut out for the second game in a row falling to Jamaica 49 – 0. The Bermuda Women went down in their third match 34 – 0 to the Dominican Republic.
