Bermuda defeated Guyana in their opening Fireminds Rugby Americas North Sevens 2021 match in Turks and Caicos 15 7.
Jahniko Francis gave Bermuda the lead just minutes before the halftime break, after some good work by Stephan Smith.
Early in the second half Tashon De Silva doubled the lead, Jamie Baum broke through the line, before being brought down, he off-loaded to Cameron De Ste Croix who then found De Silva who scored.
Dill would then make it 15 0 to Bermuda with 3:15 remaining on the clock when he would get an offload from Dan Cole and beat his defender making it 15 0.
Guyana would not be denied as they would score from a breakaway deep in their half of the field, but time ran out after the Conversion.
Bermuda would win the final match of the opening day defeating Belize 38 0.
Mikey Kelly gave Bermuda the early in the game, Rory O'Kelly-Lynch would double the Bermuda lead when he broke through the Belize defense late in the first half, and with the Conversion converted by Dan Cole it made it 12 0.
On the stroke of halftime, Baum made it 17 0, and again the Cole Conversion was good extending the lead to 19 0.
Alex Doyling made a few good moves before crossing the line to give Bermuda a 24 0 lead in the second half, De Silva would then score his second Try of the day to make it 29 0, Cole was spot on again to make it 31 0.
Francis would add his second try of the day, and Cole would be good again to give Bermuda the lead and the final score of 38 0.
