Just days after www.islandstats.com brought you the National Squash Championships results, the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association Club have announced 32 players from 18 countries will competing for $10,000 prize money at the Devonshire Club.
The PSA Bermuda Open 2019 will take place from March 5th – 8th, 2019, just weeks after the ignored PSA Bermuda National Championships concluded.
A spokesperson said, “This event is entirely funded through member donations which on behalf of the committee, and all the BSRA Members we would like to sincerely thank those who contributed.”
This amazing World Professional Squash Tour Event features;
• Men’s $5k event with a 16 players featuring 3 Bermuda players, Noah Browne, Micah Franklin & Nicholas Kyme
• Women’s $5k event with 16 players featuring 3 Bermuda players Rachel Barnes, Juliette Ferrari-McComb & Alex Furtado.
“We have professional players coming from England, USA, Canada, France, Guyana, Switzerland, Japan, Nigeria, Pakistan, Egypt, Slovakia, Argentina, Columbia, India, Jamaica, Australia, Spain & Bermuda,” continued the spokesperson.
Tickets are now on sale at the BSRA Bar for all sessions starting with the first round on Tuesday March 5.
