Bermuda Olympian swimmer Roy Allan Burch was just one of a few athletes who played a major role in the Dream On 3 Dream Gala 2016 in Charlotte, NC
The Dream On 3 Mission is to make dreams come true for children with chronic illnesses, developmental disabilities, or life-altering conditions by creating experiences of joy and magic through the world of sports.
Burch was on stage to talk about his challenges most recently his injuries.
Dream On 3 are committed and passionate about creating personal experiences for “Dream Kids” with their favorite athletes, at a sporting event, or with their favorite sports team.
The organization works directly with the social workers and treating physicians to identify children that are in need of assistance in living out their dreams.
The vision of Dream On 3 includes everything from throwing the first pitch at a major league baseball game to having their favorite athlete come for a special visit.
The Dream On 3 organization was thrilled to announce that they exceeded their goal of $100,000 raised during the Gala.
