Horizon Communications Monday Sports Brief Round-Up

www.islandstats.com continues to bring you daily round-ups of Sports sponsored by Horizon Communications, today we bring you the news that Three Bermuda National teams finished third in competition over the past few days. It started with the Under 20 Men’s National Football team.

The Bermuda National Cricket Team finished third in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Regional Qualifiers in Antigua.

Bermuda finished with a record of 4 & 2, they won their final three games:

Bermuda defeated Belize Wi by 7 Wickets – scores Belize 85 Bermuda 89/3

Bermuda defeated Argentina by 3 Wickets – scores Argentina 130/5 Bermuda 131/7

Bermuda defeated Panama by 86 runs – scores Bermuda 181/6 Panama 95/8

France were crowned Bermuda World Rugby Classic Champions after defeating Bermuda 25 - 17 at the National Sports Center.

In Premier Division action at the BAA Field, the Dandy Town Hornets made it three wins in a row with a 1 – 0 win over the visiting Somerset Trojans.

Seventeen Bermuda Footballers teams were in action.

Dage Minors ran to victory in the 2021 AXA Man on the Run 5K Run and Walk.

Sammy Degraff ran to victory in the 2021 Chattanooga Half Marathon.

The Bermuda National Athletics Association’s 2021 National Cross Country Series continued at the Arboretum.

Caelin Peters and his Connecticut College Men's Basketball teammates dominated the United States Merchant Marine Academy, 79 - 57, in its season opener.

Brian Morris was lost for words as friends, family, colleagues and fellow golfers turned out for the "Thanks and Giving Fundraiser Golf Tournament" at the Ocean View Golf Course.
