Towson and Monmouth split the six major regular season awards in CAA Women’s Soccer with Towson taking four and Monmouth grabbing the other two.
Nia Christopher picked up one of the Towson Awards
Christopher was unanimously selected as the CAA Women’s Soccer League’s Attacking Player of the Year, her teammate Jasmine Hamid collected Midfielder of the Year honors, Riley Melendez repeated as Goalkeeper of the Year, and Katherine Vettori was named Coach of the Year by her peers.
Christopher ranks 13th in the nation in goals (12) and assists (9), while her 33 points through the conclusion of the regular season rank seventh in the country.
The senior from Bermuda has helped lead Towson to a +29 goal differential that is 13th nationally.
