Saint Martin 0 Bermuda 9
Following their first match of the 2022 CONCACAF Men’s Under-17 Championship Qualifiers at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, Bermuda took to the field for their second game against Saint Martin.
Bermuda went into the match 1 & 0, while Saint Martin were 0 & 1 after falling 2 – 1 to the Bahamas.
Bermuda Starting Line-Up: - Keyan Webb, Jutorre Burgess, Luke Fulton, Malachi Henry, Kaej Stovell, Enoch Joseph, Jannis Roberts, Malachai Belboda, Daion Swan-DeSilva, Hayden Dill, Xahvi DeRosa - Substitutes - Nathaniel Swan, Nijae Aberdeen, Machai Davis, Keiaron Bean, Jaidyn Robinson, Qur’an Raynor, Bakari Furbert, Paris Robinson, Chance Eve
Xahvi Derosa gave Bermuda the lead when he scored from a breakaway from the halfway line. Hayden Dill doubled the lead when he converted from the penalty spot after he was brought down.
DeRosa made it 3 – 0 in the 24th minute when he followed up on a Jannis Roberts free kick. In the 40th minute DeRosa completed his hat-trick by converting from the penalty spot, a shot taken by Roberts was blocked on the line by a defender's hand, the defender was sent off and DeRosa beat the goalkeeper who went the wrong way.
At the half, Paris Robertson would replace DeRosa, and within two minutes he made it 5 – 0 to Bermuda, a ball was played into Robinson who lobbed the ball over an advancing goalkeeper and into the empty net.
Jutorre Burgess would make it 6 – 0 when he found the back of the net in the 59th minute. Malachi Belboda added his name to the scoresheet to make it 7 – 0, before an own goal would make it 8 – 0. The final goal of the game would come from Belboda who would score his second of the game to make it 9 – 0.
