Bermuda’s second match in Group F at the 2022 CONCACAF Women’s Under-17 Championship in the Dominican Republic saw them take on Canada.

Canada took the lead in the 16th minute when a Clare Logan shot from the edge of the box took a deflection and ended up in the back of the net. After constant pressure Canada scored their second goal of the match in the 39th minute, a cross found an unmarked Jade Bordeleau at the back post and she made no mistake in beating Dominique Brown.
Unfortunately a Brown error allowed Canada to score their 3rd goal, in the 43rd minute a weak shot from Anna Hauer was mishandled by Brown, and the ball rolled into the back of the net.
The first half as expected was dominated by Canada, who won 19 corners, they hit the crossbar three times, and they had multiple shots blocked or saved.
A cross in the 70th minute saw substitute Rosa Maalouf score from close range to make it 4 – 0 to Canada. In the 86th minute Maalouf would round the goalkeeper and score into an empty net to make it 5 – 0 to Canada.
Canada put together a total of 35 corners, and 43 shots with Bermuda playing most of the match in their third of the field.
