It was yet another historic moment for the Bermuda Football Association and Natasha Trott.
Bermuda Female FIFA Assistant Referee, Trott made history as the first Bermudian female to officiate in a CONCACAF Women’s World Cup qualifying match.
Trott officiated in the match that saw Mexico keep their unbeaten record intact in Group A after posting an 8-0 victory versus Antigua and Barbuda in the Dominican Republic.
Seven different players accounted for the goals, with 2021 CONCACAF Women’s Player of the Year Nominee Stephany Mayor scored twice, and Rebeca Bernal, Alicia Cervantes, Katty Martinez, Maricarmen Reyes, Carolina Jaramillo, and Myra Delgadillo all chipping in with goals.
