Jarryd Dillas and Kenny Leseur began competing in the Latin American Amateur Championships in the Dominian Republic.
Dillas came of the course T19th after his Even par Round of 72, Dillas who started out on the front nine made the turn at 2-over par after a Double Bogey on the par four 8th, on the back nine Dillas would shoot and Eagle on the par five 12th, a Birdie on the par four 13th, but a Bogey on the par three 14th pulled him back to Even, and he would close out with four consecutive pars.
Leseur finished the day T98th, he would Tee off on the back nine and his struggles started right away with a Double Bogey on the 10th, which would be followed by a Bogey, another Double Bogey and then five consecutive Bogey’s to be 11-over par through eight holes, however he would record a Birdie on the 19th. On the front nine Leseur would shoot 1 Birdie, 4 Pars, 2 Bogey’s, 1 Double Bogey, and 1 Quintuple Bogey to finish with a round of 17-over par.
