Kempe did not have the day he was looking for as he finished 4th overall with 25 Net Points, this after 10 races sailed in the Regatta, while Penruddocke came off the water up three places to finish in 14th place with 96 Net Points.
Kempe finished in 3rd place in the Men’s Fleet, he would sail to 9th place finish in the first race of the day, he then finished 4th in the second race of the day which saw him finish level with Ben Elvin on 25 points, but Elvin had more wins.
Following racing, Kempe said, “Slightly disappointed with the result this week however a lot has been learned and I’m looking forward to a few months of locked in training”.
Penruddocke finished in 6th place in the Female Fleet, she finished 10th in the first race of the day, and then she finished 13th in the second race of the day.
