Bermuda got off to a bad start with the host Suriname scoring in the 3rd minute, with Sheraldo Becker finding the back of the net, in the 15th minute it was 2 0 when Nigel Hasselbaink scored.
Becker would make it 3 0 in the 36th minute, and one minute later it was 4 0 when Hasselbaink added his second.
In the 65th minute Hasselbaink would complete his hat-trick to make it 5 0, and then Shaquille Pinas would close out the scoring with a goal in the 74th minute.
