The Bermuda Olympic Association extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Clevonte Lodge-Bean, who passed away tragically on November 8th, 2020. Clevonte was a rising star among Bermuda’s young athletes, having proudly represented the Pacers Track Club locally, and his country at international competitions including the Carifta Games (2017, 2018, and 2019) in 200m, 400m, 4X100m and 4X400m events.
He was a 2018 Youth Olympian, and named the Pacers’ 2018 “Male Athlete of the Year” and a recipient of the Government’s Junior Achievement Award in 2019.
Clevonte was a talented young man with a bright future both on and off the track, and we are deeply saddened that his light has gone out.
He is missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and training and competing alongside him. May he rest in peace.
