 www.islandstats.com can confirm that Cyclist Caitlyn Conyers will carry the Bermuda Flag during this evenings Closing Ceremony at the Lima 2019 Pan American Games.
In selecting Conyers, Bermuda Chef-de-Mission Branwen Smith-King said, “Conyers performance in the Women’s Time Trial and the Road was worthy of her to have the honor to lead her country out in the Closing Ceremony.”
Conyers picked up two top 10 finishes in the events that she competed in.
During the Women’s Cycling Time Trial, Conyers was clocked in 26:39.45 finishing 7th.
In the 80.5K Women’s Road Race, Conyers crossed the line in 10th place clocking a time of 2:19.52.
