In Bermuda Snooker League A Division action the Watford Sports Club defeated the Sandys Boat Club 6 - 0. Tony DeSilva held off a fast charging Peter Bromby to claim the first game for Watford Sports Club 47-38. Ray DeSilva defeated Stuart Matthews 62-47 and Steven Bremar won his two games against Martin Siese 79-36 & 54-13. The doubles partners of Ray DeSilva/Tony DeSilva won their game on the black ball defeating Bromby/Matthews 58-52.
The Spanish Point Boat Club defeated Warwick Workman’s Club 4-2. Chris Dakin had a convincing win over Keith Smith 73-35, Stewart Greenslade would win his game against Courtland Furbert 47-36. Greenslade also had high break of the night with 17. And in the two frame games Ed Gumbs and Andre Burgess would share a point each. Gumbs won the first game 57-48 and Burgess just barely won the second game 58-61. Timmy Sousa/Furbert won the doubles game against Dakin/Greenslade 48-34.
B Division
Watford Sports Club defeated the Queen’s Club 4-2. John Nicol and Tony Dawson played the two frame games also splitting a point between them. Nicol won the first game 70-26 and Dawson won the second game 53-42. Keino Zuill defeated Greg Swinbourne 53-21. With a one point difference Aaron Bean won his game against Rick Dorush 38-37. The doubles partners John Burns/Dorush defeated Bean/Zuill 62-42.
Sandys Boat Club defeated Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club 5-1. Chris Bromby won his game against Jon Pedro 50-22. Aaron Carvelho defeated Ross Spurling 48-23. Andrew Hanwell gained the only point of the night for the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club by winning the first game against Richard Beale 48-28. However Beale won the second game 47-73. The doubles game was won by partners Carvelho/Bromby 52 to 40 for Bart Lewis/Pedro.
