Elijah Daley was back in action competing in the Invitational Hall of Fame Swim meet hosted by Etobicoke Swim Club at the Etobicoke Olympium.
On Day Two, Daley would claim two Medals, break two Bermuda Short Course Records, and set three more Personal Best times.
During the 4x50m Medley Relay, Daley swam a Bermuda National Record time in the 50m Butterfly clocking a Personal Best time of 24.77, breaking Jesse Washington’s time of 25.56 set back on March 17th, 2018 during the Best of BEST Age Group Championships.
Daley would claim his First Gold medal of the day when he won the 17-18 Boy’s 200m Freestyle touching the wall in a time of 1:54.97.
Daley would then win the 17-18 Boy’s 100m Backstroke Gold Medal touching the wall in a Personal Best time of 56.97, he would break Jack Harvey’s time of 57.84 set back on November 26th, 2020 during the BASA Winter Age Group Championships.
Daley would finish 4th during the 17-18 Boy’s 1200m Freestyle, clocking a Personal Best time of 52.48.
