The Barry Hanson Memorial 2023 Meet got the Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association’s season underway at the BASA Pool.
Cristina Abend won the 13-14 Girls 50 SC Meter Backstroke touching the wall in a time of 37.08, Isla Paddison was second in 37.95, and Sienna Spurling was third clocking 38.58.
During the Women’s 15 & Over 50 Meter Backstroke Elanna Fulton clocked a winning time of 34.47, Adriana Argent was second in 36.02, while Daria Desmond was third in 37.59.
The 13-14 Boys 50 SC Meter Backstroke was won by Noah Maranzana who clocked 33.19, Logan Jones was second in 34.42, and Nayland Harris finished third touching the wall in 35.62.
Joseph Moniz won the Men 15 & Over 50 SC Meter Backstroke touching the wall in a time of 36.89, Zachary Johnson was second in 37.67, and Edward Lavis was third clocking 43.79.
