Madelyn Moore and her No. 23 ranked Virginia Tech Women's Swimming and Diving teammates defeated Emma Harvey and her Penn State Women’s Swimming and Diving teammates 155 – 140 on Senior Day in a dual meet located at McCoy Navatorium, while Jack Harvey and his Penn State Men's Swimming and Diving teammates went down in a 172-121 loss to Virginia Tech.
Senior Emma Harvey touched the wall in 53.08 in the Women’s 100 Yard Backstroke for second place and an NCAA B-Cut, Moore finished 4th clocking a time of 54.45.
Emma Harvey finished second in the Women’s 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 53.56.
With a time of 23.03, Moore finished 4th competing in the Women’s 50 Yard Freestyle.
In the Women’s 200 Yard Freestyle Relay Madelyn Moore and her teammates clocked 1:29.29 finishing first, making this relay tied for the third top time in Hokie history. Moore's 50 Freestyle lead-off of 22.30 made it into the fifth spot of the women's top 10 times. Emma Harvey swam the third leg for the Penn State Women’s 400 Yard Medley Relay A team that finished 2nd clocking a time of 3:36.65, while Moore swam the anchor leg for the Virginia Tech Women’s 400 Yard Medley Relay B team that finished third with a time of 3:40.76.
Sophomores Jack Harvey finished second in the Men’s 200 Yard Backstroke in a time of 1:46.48.
Jack Harvey finished 7th competing in the Men’s 100 Yard Backstroke clocking 49.90.
Jack Harvey clocked a time of 4:35.46 finishing 6th in the Men’s 500 Yard Freestyle.
Jack Harvey swam the third leg for the Penn State Men’s 200 Yard Freestyle Relay B team that finished 2nd with a time of 1:22.36.
