Madelyn Moore and her Virginia Tech Women’s Swimming teammates racked up many first-place wins during their meet against Queens and Tennessee.
The Virginia Tech Women won 151-103, while Tennessee counted as an exhibition, so they did not have a final score.
Starting the day off strong, Carmen Weiler Sastre, Fanni Gyurinovics, Karisa Franz and Moore placed first in the Women’s 200 Yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:41.19.
Sarah Shackelford, Emma Atkinson and Moore placed high in Freestyle. Shackelford finished first in the Women’s 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 23.43 and Moore followed right behind in second place with a time of 23.43. Shackelford also won the Women’s 100 Yard Freestyle, finishing in 50.70 with Moore in second place at 50.85.
