The Open Water Bermuda National Championships 2022 took place at Turtle Bay Beach, St. David's. Many of the competitors who have been selected to represent Bermuda during next weekend’s Carifta Championships competed in this event in a bid to get in some swimming competition. Craig Munden won the 5K Distance Division with a time of 1:10:14, while Nina Coetzer crossed the line in second place clocking 1:12:41 to claim the Women’s 5K Distance Division title.
Sam Williamson and Marleigh Howes were crowned the Male and Female 1500m Distance Division Champions, Williamson crossed the line in a time of 20:41, while Howes was third overall clocking a time of 22:47.
Dominic Wright and Tallulah Parkinson were crowned the 400m Male and Female Champions, Wright was clocked at 6:26, while Parkinson was second overall with a time of 6:32.
