Madelyn Moore and her Northern Colorado Swim and Dive teammates have withdrawn from this weekend's Tri-Meet at Air Force due to COVID-19 protocols within their program.
It was back on January 3rd that www.islandstats.com brought you the news that Moore was known as one of the best swimmers in University of Northern Colorado (UNC) history and in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC), now she is being recognized as one of the best swimmers for the Central America & Caribbean region. Moore earned honorable mention in Swim Swam's Annual Awards.
Moore and her teammates were looking forward to picking up where they left off in 2021, however, at this time, Northern Colorado will not add another meet to its schedule.
UNC will be back in the pool at home in Butler Hancock Pool on January 29th for its final home meet of the year and senior day against in-state rival Colorado State.
