The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association hosted a Trial Swim Meet back in August to get a feel for what the new standards to putting on an event would look like.
National Swimming coach Ben Smith will join www.islandstats.com at 11:00am to discuss the challenges.
During that Swim Meet back on August 8th saw officials used a standard to restrict the swimmers that were eligible to compete, splitting the meet into two sessions with session A used for the swimmer's Age Group of 11-13 and session B saw swimmers 14 and over.
This allowed a meet with the swimmers, officials, and coaches while having a group size below 50 for each session. There were no spectators on deck to watch and the swimmers had lots of space to social distance.
