Bermuda Swimmers Conclude Competing in Florida

Members of the Warwick Academy Swim Team concluded competing at the 28th Annual Speedo Winter Championships in Plantation, Florida.

Three more Medals were won on the Final Day making the teams total Medal count 7.

Taylor White would win the first medal of the evening capturing the Bronze Medal while competing in the 13-14 Womenís 200 Yard Butterfly Final clocking a time of 2:12.26.

Brian Desmond would capture the 15-16 Menís 200 Yard Freestyle Silver Medal when he clocked a Final time of 1:44.38.

Logan Watson-Brown would stand on top of the podium claiming the Gold Medal during the 15-16 Womenís 100 Yard Backstroke after she was clocked at 58.91.

Watson-Brown would finish 5th competing in the 15-16 Womenís 200 Yard Freestyle Final when she touched the wall in a time of 1:54.34.

During the 15-16 Menís 100 Yard IM Final, Jack Harvey finished 9th touching he wall in a time of 56.39.

White would finish 4th with a time of 1:00.30 during the 13-14 Womenís 100 Yard Backstroke Final.

Harvey would finish 9th during the 15-16 Menís 100 Yard Backstroke Final clocking a time of 56.55.

During the Women 400 Yard Freestyle Relay Gabriela Pitman, White, Skyler Powell and Watson-Brown finished 10th with a time of 3:39.66.

The team of Zebedee Wakely, Caleb Ingham, Harvey and Desmond finished the Men 400 Yard Freestyle Relay 11th with a time of 3:20.29.
