Bermuda had a Mixed Day One as the CAZOVA (Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association) Under-23 Invitational Beach Volleyball Tournament served off, in Santa Cruz, Trinidad.
The Women’s team of Amber Simons and Kaylee Trott, defeated their Jamaican opponents in a three-set battle, Bermuda won game one 21 – 14, but Jamaica leveled the match at 1 – 1 when they won game two 21 – 10. In the third set tie-breaker, Bermuda Simons and Trott would claim the victory 15 – 12.
In the Men’s match, Bermuda pair Connor Somerville and Ben Barnett, went down 21 – 15, 21 – 14 to Trinidad.
