Sancho Smith and his Clayton State University Men's Track & Field teammates returned to action at the Emory CrossPlex Invitational.
The Clayton State Men's team finished in third place out of 18 schools, with 71 points. Emory won the meet with 133.5 points followed by Montevallo with 78 points.
In the 800m run, Clayton State saw a breakout performance from Smith. Smith finished third, with a time of 2:01.17.
Smith ran the second leg for the Clayton State Men’s 4x400 Meter Relay team which finished third clocking a time of 3:30.59.
