Medicine Hat were outscored 20-13 in the first period, before restricting Lethbridge to 4 points in the second period, while scoring 13 points themselves to go to the break leading 26 – 24.
The third period saw Medicine Hat score their third consecutive period of 13 points, while Lethbridge scored 16, the final period saw Medicine Hat score 19 and hold Lethbridge to 18 points for the match to end 58 – 58.
In the overtime period Lethbridge would outscore Medicine Hat 10 – 5 for the win.
Burgess went 1 for 3 from the Field and 1 for 2 from the Free Throw Line for his 3 points on the night.
Burgess would grab 7 Rebounds, 4 Offensive and 3 defensive boards, he also had 3 Turn Overs and 3 Fouls.
